Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Valt Discord bot and web dashboard at dash.valt.gg (together, the "Service"), operated by Valt ("we", "us", "our").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Valt is a Discord bot with an accompanying web dashboard that provides server management tools including moderation, tickets, auto-moderation, levels, logging, and other modules. The Service is offered in three tiers: Free, Pro, and Max.

2. Account and access

To use the dashboard, you must authenticate via Discord OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account. You must not share your dashboard access with unauthorized individuals.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Free and paid plans

Free plan

The Free plan provides access to 12 modules, 1 server, and 2 staff seats at no cost. We reserve the right to modify the Free plan's features and limits at any time.

Paid plans (Pro and Max)

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. All prices are inclusive of VAT and are as listed on our pricing page. Prices may be changed with 30 days' notice.

• Pro: $5/month. 13 modules, 3 servers, 10 staff seats.
• Max: $10/month. 14 modules, 10 servers, unlimited staff seats.

Upgrading and downgrading

You can change your plan at any time. When upgrading, the new plan takes effect immediately and billing is prorated. When downgrading, new limits apply to new actions only. Your existing data is preserved but becomes read-only beyond the new plan's limits. No data is deleted on downgrade.

4. Right of withdrawal

Under EU consumer law, you have the right to cancel a paid subscription within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked.

To exercise this right, email [email protected] with your team name and Discord user ID. We will process the refund within 14 days of receiving your request.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Store or distribute illegal content
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Spam or abuse the Service in a way that degrades performance for others
• Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines

6. Termination

By you

You can stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your Discord server and canceling your subscription (if applicable).

By us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in illegal activities through the Service
• You abuse the platform (e.g., excessive load, spam, or automated misuse)
• You violate Discord's Terms of Service

Where possible, we will notify you before or at the time of termination. In cases of severe or urgent violations, we may terminate access immediately without prior notice.

7. Data and privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under GDPR.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Valt. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without our permission.

Your data remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for providing the Service.

9. Availability and warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes to the Service at any time.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available but provide no uptime guarantees.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for data loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be announced via our Discord support server at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
